Spurs Left-Back Danny Rose Brutally Trolled After Apparently Putting on Weight

Spurs left-back Danny Rose is being mercilessly trolled on Twitter after photographs emerged showing the England international sporting a slightly fuller figure.

Rose has been out injured since late January with a persistent knee injury but he returned to training earlier today, and, frankly, he didn’t look in the best of shape.

Back in the summer, Rose risked the wrath of his manager Mauricio Pochettino after speaking out publicly about his wages and why he and some team-mates deserved to be paid even more than the tens of thousands of pounds per week they already earn.

As you can imagine, Rose turning up for training looking a bit tubby was all the ammunition some of his haters online needed:

Does he really look that fat? Isn’t it to be a little bit expected when he’s been out injured for nine months?

And surely it won’t last too long under a tough coach like Pochettino?
