There’s Plenty of Rangers Fans Calling For Pedro Caixnha’s Sacking Tonight

Rangers were beaten by Motherwell in the Betfred Cup semi-final this afternoon – and now a lot of the club’s supporters are calling on the manager to be shown the door.

Pedro Caixinha took his Gers squad to Hampden aiming to reach his first cup final since taking over at Ibrox last March, but his wait was extended when Louis Moult scored twice in the second-half.

During his tenure so far, Rangers have lost 5-1 at home to bitter rivals Celtic; been eliminated from the Europa League by a mid-table side from Luxembourg; and he’s failed to even rack up three consecutive victories as the club’s manager.

Taking even a glance at social media will underline just how much today’s defeat was the final straw for some supporters:

What do you think of Caixinha’s time in charge, and the reaction to today’s result?

Does he deserve a longer opportunity to prove he’s the right man?
