There are only two Scottish Premiership players worthy of Ultimate Team consideration this week – according to talkingbawsFC.
St Johnstone entertained Rangers in the Friday night Premiership clash before five more fixtures came and went this afternoon.
But they passed without much incident as Celtic beat Dundee 1-0, Motherwell beat Hamilton 2-1, Aberdeen won 1-0 away at Hibs, Kilmarnock came out 2-0 winners against Partick Thistle and Hearts managed to beat Ross County 2-1.
There are two, though, who deserve recognition in FIFA 18’s Ultimate Team Team of the Week to come.
And here they are:
The Rangers man might have a lot of critics for his all-round play, but there’s no denying his goal threat – and that was shown at McDiarmid Park last night. He got on the end of two James Tavernier crosses to brilliantly finish and set Rangers up for a 3-0 win against St Johnstone. So he’s the man with the best chance of getting an upgrade with inclusion in the coming week’s Team of the Week.
From the 3pm games, only Walker stands out – assisting one and scoring the other as the Jambos got a massive three points against an improved Staggies team under Owen Coyle. It’s never easy going up to Dingwall, but Walker helped Hearts get their win, which was made even harder with Conor Randall’s second-half sending off.
