Victor Lindelof Gets Majority of the Stick After Huddersfield Stun Manchester United

Victor Lindelof is taking the majority of stick after Manchester United were stunned by Huddersfield.

The Swedish defender has endured a rocky start to his career with the Red Devils, playing just once in the Premier League before and looking far from convincing up until today’s game.

He started on the bench for today’s visit to Huddersfield, but had to come on for Phil Jones after the defender picked up an injury on 23 minutes.

What followed was far from good, with Lindelof failing to judge a goal kick properly and Laurent Depoitre was on hand to punish him for Huddersfield’s second goal of the game.

He just doesn’t look convincing at all – and that’s surprising considering his £31million summer move from Benfica was heralded by most.

United fans aren’t happy with the centre back and haven’t been able to hide that on social media after the game:

United fans – do you have faith that Lindelof will come good?
