Video: Andres Iniesta Picks Barca Players Who Left for Real Madrid in His Legends List

Having spent his entire career at the Nou Camp, Andres Iniesta has seen his fair share of legendary players line-up alongside and against him.

However, when it came to picking his “top four favourite legends” this week, the Spaniard went against the grain.

Surprisingly, Iniesta snubbed players like Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho, Xavi and Carles Puyol in favour of guys he would have liked to share a dressing room with.

Former Manchester United shot-stopper Peter Schmeichel gets the nod, as does Italy legend Paolo Maldini.

Two ex-Barcelona players also make the team, however, few would have guessed the Brazilian Ronaldo would have made it, given he spent just one year in Catalonia before switching to fierce rivals Real Madrid.

Similarly, Michael Laudrup also makes the top four, despite following the same trail as Ronaldo and ending up at the Santiago Bernabeu after leaving Barca:

Iniesta was rewarded with a new “life-time” contract earlier this week, having made over 400 appearances for Barcelona since being promoted from the youth side in 2002.
