Antonio Conte’s men have had a busy week after their 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend.
They drew 3-3 with Roma in the Champions League in midweek and will follow that up with an early Premier League clash with Watford tomorrow.
So there’s been reason for their goalies to be on top form – and they’ve been preparing with some interesting tennis ball sessions.
Gianluca Spinelli is the Chelsea goalkeeping coach and it was him firing the tennis balls into both Courtois and Cabellero earlier this week:
We’d love to have a go at those drills.
Unfortunately for Chelsea, Courtois was unable to benefit much from the training as he shipped three goals in the draw with Roma.
The English Premier League champions led the game in the first half on Wednesday night, but actually fell behind to Edin Dzeko’s goal for the visitors before Eden Hazard equalised 15 minutes from time.
