Chris Sutton has urged his former club Celtic to sign up Hibs midfielder John McGinn, following the 23-year-old’s latest impressive performance against Hearts last night.
McGinn has cemented his reputation as one of the country’s most promising and exciting talents over the last two seasons after playing a massive part in the Edinburgh club’s 2016 Scottish Cup win, as well as last season’s promotion from the Championship.
He’s also managed to force his way into the Scotland set-up, prompting his manager Neil Lennon to value him at £5 million, but Sutton insists the Hoops shouldn’t be put off by such a sizeable valuation.
Speaking as a pundit on BT Sport ahead of Celtic’s match against Aberdeen tonight, Sutton made his feelings on McGinn’s talent perfectly clear:

What do you think of the prospect of McGinn moving to the Premiership champions? Could he possibly be the long-term successor to Scott Brown?
