Video: Moussa Dembele Nods in Celtic’s Third Against Aberdeen

Moussa Dembele was reinstated to the Celtic starting line-up this evening and he wasted absolutely no time in reminding Hoops supporters what they’ve been missing.

The France Under-21 international has been forced to make-do with a spot on Brendan Rodgers’ bench for much of this season, with Leigh Griffiths making the solo striking berth his own over the last few months.

But following his impressive performance from the bench against Hibs in the League Cup on Saturday, Dembele was given the nod away to Aberdeen this evening, and he was, frankly, absolutely brilliant.

He set-up Kieran Tierney’s opener on 13 minutes and scored himself on 39 minutes, and with just over an hour gone, he added his second:

Remarkably, this time last week, Dembele had just one goal this season – but he’ll go to bed tonight with five. Not a bad seven days for the striker, eh?

Is he now Celtic’s first choice ahead of Griffiths?
