In a game with few moments of genuine quality, West Brom winger Nacer Chadli has stepped up to produce an excellent free-kick to beat Leicester’s Kasper Schmeichel.
Only four points separated the Baggies from the 2016 Premier League champions prior to kick-off and up until the hour-mark the game played out like a dull mid-table clash.
However, Chadli’s delightful set-piece appears to have brought this match-up to life.
The ex-Spurs star left Schmeichel wrong-footed as he used Jake Livermore as a shield before curling a free-kick into the net:

Chadli’s free-kick means West Brom have now scored 47 goals from set-pieces since Tony Pulis took charge at the Hawthorns.
And with Kasper’s dad Peter in the studio for Sky’s Monday Night Football coverage, it’ll be interesting to see what the former Manchester United shot-stopper has to say about this goal.
Should Schmeichel be doing better here and making more of a move toward the ball?
Or is his vision impaired to the extent that it’s difficult to award him the blame?
