Wayne Rooney is Being Savagely Trolled Following His Performance v Leicester

Wayne Rooney is being absolutely hammered by Everton supporters following his latest performance for the club, with the Toffees staring down the barrel of a relegation fight.

And, despite a decent start, that’s exactly where they found themselves at full-time, with Leicester running out comfortable 2-0 winners.

Rooney rejoined his boyhood club during the summer, and has probably been one of Everton’s better players this season.

But that isn’t saying much, with the club’s squad badly under-performing so far, and it seems as though Rooney is the player taking the fall for their latest defeat:

At 32, he’s obviously not the player he once was, but does Wayne Rooney really deserve all of the stick he is currently taking?

What do you think?
