Arsenal Fans Aren’t Sure What to Make of Calum Chambers Playing as a Wing-Back

Arsene Wenger has once again shuffled his pack for tonight’s Europa League tie with FC Koln, as Calum Chambers is handed a rare start as a right wing-back.

However, the Arsenal fans aren’t quite sure what to make of Chambers’ new position…

The 22-year-old moved to the Emirates from Southampton in 2012 but has found it difficult to find a permanent role in the Arsenal XI.

Despite being in and out of the side and having been sent out on loan to Middlesbrough last season, Wenger is keen to give the England international another chance, with Chambers asked to deputise for Hector Bellerin this evening.

And while some supporters were happy to see the defender brought into the starting line-up, other were concerned as to whether Chambers can really excel in an attacking position:

Arsenal have already secured a spot in the next round of the Europa League after winning their first three matches in convincing fashion.

However, Wenger will surely be looking to build on the momentum of the North London derby victory with another three points against a Cologne side that sit bottom of the Bundesliga.
