Arsenal Fans Are Shattered After Santi Cazorla Announces Surgery News

Arsenal fans are shattered after Santi Cazorla announced more ankle surgery news.

The Gunners playmaker hasn’t appeared for the club since October last year, suffering setback after setback from an ankle injury that ruled him out in the first place.

Given the time he’s been out for, fans believed a return wasn’t far off for the little magician.

But Cazorla confirmed this morning that another setback has led to him having more ankle surgery – and that means more months out.

That’s devastating news for supporters and they’ve taken to Twitter this morning to share their sadness at the Cazorla news:

You can understand the disappointment from Arsenal fans considering how important he’s been to the club throughout his time in north London.

He’s scored 29 goals in 180 appearances for the Gunners, becoming a firm fans’ favourite with his entertaining style of play.

For the sake of football, we hope Cazorla can make a full recovery and bring his Spanish flair to a pitch sooner rather than later.
