Video: Arsenal U18s Smash Spurs 6-0 with Xavier Amaechi Scoring the Pick of the Goals

Tottenham were forced to endure more North London heartache this afternoon after their Under-18 side were thrashed at their Arsenal counterparts – with youngster Xavier Amaechi scoring the pick of the goals.

Just last weekend, Mauricio Pochettino watched on helplessly at the Emirates as his star-studded senior squad were humbled by their bitter city rivals, with Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez scoring in the 2-0 defeat.

Pcohettino is known to go to a lot of the club’s youth matches but, hopefully for his sake, he wasn’t watching today’s match.

Despite his exotic-sounding name, Xavier Amaechi is actually English, and the 16-year-old definitely caught the eye with his performance today – not least by battering in a pretty impressive goal:

With that number seven jersey on, he doesn’t look too dissimilar to Alexis Sanchez, eh?

It’s not been a great seven days for Spurs supporters, has it?

Is it now safe to say Arsenal still comfortably rule North London?
