Cheikhou Kouyaté Might Want to Ignore Twitter After West Ham Lose to Watford

Cheikhou Kouyaté might want to stay off Twitter for the next few days after West Ham‘s loss to Watford.

The Senegalese midfielder played the full 90 minutes of David Moyes’ first game in charge of the Hammers, but couldn’t help them avoid a 2-0 defeat at the hands of a dominant Hornets side.

The bounce from Moyes’ arrival which many would have hoped for was nowhere to be seen and the London Stadium side will now be left under no illusions that things need to improve dramatically – and soon.

But one man who is taking a bit more stick than most in the team is Kouyaté, who turned in a very poor performance in the defeat.

He had two golden opportunities to at least get West Ham on the scoresheet, but both his finishes weren’t good enough.

West Ham fans had seen enough after his second chance went over the bar from close range:

Unless Kouyaté enjoys criticism, we’d recommend he stays off Twitter for the next few days.
