Diego Maradona shared his happiness at Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Manchester United return with a Facebook post yesterday.
The Argentine legend was obviously watching on as the Old Trafford side welcomed Zlatan back into their team in the 4-1 win over Newcastle on Saturday.
Romelu Lukaku started the match, but Zlatan was a second-half substitute and showed he’s back fit and raring to go after spending seven months recovering from a serious knee injury.

As is the norm with anything Zlatan does, there was a lot of attention on his return and what he said about it post-match.
And Maradona has added to the reaction, sharing his delight that the Swede is back playing.
He posted this to Facebook late yesterday:
Feliz, porque volvió Zlatan Ibrahimovic!!!El fútbol te estaba esperando…

Zlatan will now be hoping to play a big role for Jose Mourinho’s men throughout the rest of this season.
He got 28 goals for United before injuring his knee in the Europa League quarter-final with Anderlecht in April.
But, knowing Zlatan, he’ll probably still be aiming for that amount of goals this term despite the late start to the campaign.
