Harry Kane and Dele Alli Take Serious Abuse After Loss to Arsenal

Harry Kane and Dele Alli are taking a hammering after Tottenham‘s defeat to Arsenal.

The inclusion of the Spurs duo in the starting XI for the north London derby at the Emirates was a big boost to the team and supporters of the club.

They’d missed England duty through injury so were a doubt going into the match.

But both were included – and that should have led to a strong performance from Mauricio Pochettino’s team. That didn’t quite work out.

Arsenal coasted the game, winning thanks to goals from Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez in the first half.

Pochettino took the odd action of substituting both Kane and Alli with 15 minutes to go – and that was much to the delight of some supporters watching on:

Considering Arsenal’s issues over recent times, that’s a result that the Gunners will be very happy with.

As for Tottenham, they’ll be hoping that’s just a blip, both for the team and for Kane and Alli, who will be needed going into a busy Christmas period for the club.
