Leigh Griffiths Celebrates Winner by Paying Big Tribute to Kieran Tierney

Leigh Griffiths celebrated scoring Celtic‘s winner against Ross County this afternoon by paying tribute to Kieran Tierney.

The Hoops striker climbed off the bench in the second half to inspire his side to a hard-fought 1-0 win.

Up until his 78th-minute free-kick from 30 yards, Celtic had struggled to break down a very organised Staggies side, looking much better under Owen Coyle.

But the goal was all Celtic needed to get the three points – and Griffiths didn’t take long in posting on Instagram after the game.

While sharing his delight at the goal, he had more to write about Tierney, who was making his 100th appearance for the club in the game:

It’s hard to disagree with Griffiths given Tierney’s form ever since breaking into the first team.

He’s now the number one left-back, a Scotland regular, a potential captain for club and country in the future and fresh from signing a six-year deal for the club.

With today’s results, Celtic now sit six points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership and already look very good value to become champions.
