The German defender was actually rested for the group game in Glasgow, taking a place on the bench due to worries over a niggling injury.
But he still got to experience the famous Parkhead atmosphere on a European night.
And it seems like he wasn’t disappointed.
Hummels made sure to snap a selfie inside the stadium after the match and posted it to Twitter alongside this message:

Hummels has praised Celtic in the past and actually spoke about how he was looking forward to playing in Glasgow.
So he’ll no doubt be disappointed not to get involved in the action, despite Bayern getting the win that sealed their last 16 place with two group games remaining.
Celtic, on the other hand, still have a battle on with Anderlecht to secure third place and a run in the Europa League after Christmas.
They’re three points ahead of the Belgians going into the last two games and you’d think they’ll get third if they manage to pick up anything away at PSG or don’t lose against Anderlecht in their final match.
