The Hoops man was involved in two flash points of Sunday’s controversial Betfred Cup Final.
He was first on the receiving end of a high Kipre challenge just outside the Motherwell box in the first half, but referee Craig Thomson deemed it a clean tackle.
Then Dembele went into the book minutes later when he put in a high tackle on Carl McHugh in midfield.
All the post-match talk has surrounded Scott Sinclair’s dive which led to Kipre being red card and Dembele netting a decisive second goal.
But there’s also been plenty of discussion about Kipre’s early tackle on Dembele, with many believing the Frenchman should have been sent off for it.
Now, Dembele has been ruled out of Celtic’s Premiership clash with Motherwell at Fir Park tomorrow night – and you have to think Kipre’s tackle may be the cause of that?

With the teams due to play against each other tomorrow and then on Saturday again, we imagine this won’t be the last time we hear about controversial decisions.
