The Ibrox youngster has been seen more at centre back since breaking into the first team, but he was handed a berth in midfield by Graeme Murty for their crunch Scottish Premiership clash this evening.
And he didn’t disappoint, helping Jason Holt and Ryan Jack dominate the midfield against Graeme Shinnie, Kenny McLean and Greg Tansey.

Rangers ran out 3-0 winners, with Carlos Pena adding to James Tavernier’s double so fans have every reason to be delighted.
The whole team is being praised for the performance and result, but McCrorie is getting special praise from supporters on social media:
It’s fair to say McCrorie is now a big fans’ favourite with supporters – and, judging by the reaction on social media tonight, the sky is the limit for the 19-year-old homegrown talent.
Now McCrorie and Rangers will focus their attention on Aberdeen again at the weekend – this time travelling to Pittodrie to take on Derek McInnes’ men.
Rangers fans – how impressed were you with McCrorie?
