
A shirt rumoured to be Scotland‘s new home kit has been leaked online this afternoon – and we reckon the Tartan Army will be blown away by the retro-looking jersey.
It seems unlikely we will get another chance to see Scotland’s current uniform again, despite both the home shirt and the pink away jersey proving massive hits with fans.
So, with Gordon Strachan leaving, several young talents making their breakthroughs and with attention turning to the next qualifying campaign, the next logical step is for Adidas to release a new Scotland kit.
And if it can banish the memories of failing to qualify for next summer’s World Cup, all the better!
As per the ultra-reliable FootyHeadlines, the new shirt appears be a nod toward the Scotland jerseys from the past, with Adidas replacing the white sleeves of the current top with a more stripped-back and basic design.
The shirt itself is a traditional navy but also features a subtle print pattern on the front, derived from the iconic 1988 template used by the Netherlands:
