Video: Arjen Robben Says Celtic Park Gave Him Goosebumps

Bayern Munich superstar Arjen Robben says the Celtic Park atmosphere gave him goosebumps, as he raved about his first match under the floodlights in the East End of Glasgow.

The Holland captain skippered the Bundesliga side to their 2-1 victory over the Hoops last night, with ensured Bayern of their progression to the Champions League’s knockout phases.

The former Real Madrid and Chelsea winger has played in pretty much all of European football’s top stadiums, and as well as winning the Champions League, Robben has played in a World Cup Final – but he was happy to admit that playing in Parkhead was something special.

Also, speaking to the media after the full-time special, via the Daily Record, the 33-year-old added: “That was a football experience of pure culture.

“Throughout the night we felt goosebumps.

“It was an atmosphere that felt a bit like the old days. It was a terrific night.”

Bayern now face a must-win match against PSG at home which will dictate whether or not they top the section and face an easier opponent in the last-16.

But what do you make of Robben’s comments?
