Video: Barca Kid Alex Collado’s Messi-Esque Strike is Top La Masia Goal This Week

Alex Collado will no doubt earn some comparisons to Lionel Messi after his stunning goal for Barcelona‘s youth team recently.

He was a big part of their recent 3-0 win over Olympiacos in the UEFA Youth League, scoring two goals in the victory.

And wearing Messi’s number 10 shirt, Collado produced a goal the Argentine would be very proud of if he’d put it into the top corner.

Barcelona put out their top five La Masia goals over the last week and Collado topped it for one of his efforts against Olympiacos:

How good is that?! Collado is just 18 and, based on this form, he should have his sights set on getting a first team debut at Barcelona over the next few years.

Blooding more young players is something they definitely need, with the team winning games, but failing to really impress at the start of this season.

Maybe Messi would do with someone a bit like himself to pass to in the first team?
