Brendan Rodgers has teased Celtic fans tonight by jokingly saying he and Kieran Tierney might need to stay at the club until 12-in-a-row is completed.
As any Hoops fan will know, the club’s support can be heard singing about how Rodgers is ‘here for 10-in-a-row’ since the Northern Irishman signed a new four-year contract earlier this year, and he was joined in signalling his commitment to the club by Tierney only earlier this week.
The exciting left-back put pen-to-paper on a six-year contract on Monday, with his new bumper contract set to run out in the summer of 2023.
If Celtic’s dominance is to continue in the Scottish Premiership, the club would be aiming for 12 consecutive league titles by then – and Rodgers has suggested he might have to scrap 10 and make 12 the new aim:
Could listen to Brendan Rodgers talk all night. He just gets it. 'Kieran Tierney's here for 12 in a Row!' ? @celticfc pic.twitter.com/Nx1Ppw1ESE

Rodgers was speaking in Belfast as he continues to launch his new autobiography, but is the idea of him still being boss in 2023 a realistic possibility?
