The Manchester United legend took his usual spot on the ITV couch for their late highlights show last night.
And it was fair to say that Keane wasn’t too impressed by Liverpool in their victory at Anfield.
Despite coasting to a 3-0 win and top spot in their group after four games, Keane believes they’re still a poor team to watch and they have no chance of lifting trophies come the end of the season.
But perhaps Keane’s most cutting comment came when he said he wouldn’t even watch Liverpool if they were playing in his back garden:

That’s strong stuff from Keane – and difficult to agree with considering most of Liverpool’s games are entertaining whether they win or not.
Jurgen Klopp’s men haven’t enjoyed the best start to the season in all competitions, sitting sixth in the Premier League and 12 points off the pace-setters Manchester City.
They’re out of the Carabao Cup already and it’s not guaranteed they’ll qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League despite occupying top spot at the moment in their group.
The 4-1 beating by Tottenham at Wembley two weeks hasn’t helped Klopp and his players either.
But is Keane right to say they’re ‘going nowhere fast’ or is that too harsh?
