Video: Celtic Fans Go Wild as Scott Sinclair’s Late Penalty Keeps Unbeaten Run Intact

Celtic fans went wild tonight as Scott Sinclair scored a last-gasp penalty to keep the club’s unbeaten run intact, with the incredible streak now standing at a whopping 66 games.

The Hoops went to Fir Park this evening to take on Motherwell just three days after beating them in the League Cup final at Hampden, and knew they’d be in for a tough match given the controversial circumstances of that victory.

And it looked like Well were on the brink of securing a famous win when Mikael Lustig put through his own net on 78 minutes, with Hoops supporters fearing the worst.

But Brendan Rodgers’ side never know when they’re beat and in the 88th minute Callum McGregor was brought down in the area, allowing substitute Scott Sinclair the opportunity to level things up.

He duly obliged:

66 matches not out – so do you now think Celtic will go an entire second season unbeaten?
