Arsenal are being forced to deal with a mouse infestation at the Emirates Stadium following a damning a hygiene report which dates all the way back to October 2016.
Regarded as one of the world’s top class football stadiums, the Emirates is one the few grounds in the Premier League which is regarded to be a ‘five star’ complex.
But, according to the Independent, a council investigation from 14 months ago discovered “extensive evidence of mouse activity” throughout the club’s ground – including across the hospitality levels.
Apparently, the infestation has been caused by the stadium’s proximity to the nearby East Coast Main Line, but it remains to be seen how the club will deal with the issue, or if any punishment or sanctions will be handed down by the council following the revelations.
What do you think of the news? Would it make you think twice before eating at the Emirates in the future?
