The 25-year-old has struggled with injuries for the last three seasons but has managed to stay fit for most of this campaign – but still can’t force his way into Arsene Wenger’s first-choice XI.
With his contract expiring in June 2018, and no sign of an extension, a parting of the ways seems inevitable and bookies Ladbrokes reckon Anfield could well be his next destination.
At the start of the current season, Liverpool were priced at 20/1 to be Wilshere’s next permanent club but the guys at Ladbrokes now reckon the Reds are just 3/1 second favourites to nab their man.
Intriguingly, Rafa Benitez and Newcastle are the favourites at 7/4 but it remains to be seen if they can afford the type of six-figure weekly wage Wilshere would surely command.
Obviously we all know Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain moved from Arsenal to Liverpool last summer – but do you reckon Wilshere will do the same? Is he a ‘Klopp’ player?
