Chelsea and Spurs Fans Think They’re Out of the Champions League Already

The draw for the Champions League last-16 has been made earlier today and supporters of English sides Spurs and Chelsea both don’t seem to have much hope of progressing.

Despite winning a group that contained Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, Spurs have been handed the unenviable task of taking on last season’s finalists Juventus, whilst Antonio Conte’s Chelsea have been paired with the mighty Barcelona.

Both Tottenham and their London rivals would’ve had aspirations to reach the quarter-finals before today’s plush event in Switzerland but it seems Xabi Alonso’s ball-picking skills have left fans of both sides feeling rather deflated:

Of course, Chelsea have knocked out Barca before, most memorably on their way to winning the Champions League back in 2012, and whilst Spurs might not have much experience at the top level of European football, surely Harry Kane and co will give Juve a right good game, no?

What do you think?
