Declan John Signs Three-Year Rangers Deal and Fans Reckon it’s Very Good Business

Quick on the heels of announcing Graeme Murty will remain in charge til the end of the season, Rangers have also confirmed that Declan John has made his loan deal at the club permanent.

The 22-year-old joined Rangers on loan from Cardiff City in the summer and has impressed while filling in for injury-plagued skipper Lee Wallace.

Despite Rangers shipping an alarming 23 goals so far this season, including three in an embarrassing defeat to St. Johnstone last week, John has earned plaudits for looking assured and willing to roam forward from left-back

John’s deal means he has extended his stay in Glasgow until the summer of 2021 and the majority of supporters believe the Rangers hierarchy have done good business:


With Murty set to hold the reigns until the end of the season, it will be interested to see whether the Englishman is afforded to opportunity to sign player in January, to add to John’s permanent deal.
