Is Eden Hazard the Best Player in the Premier League? Chelsea Fans Think So

Chelsea fans believe Eden Hazard is the best player in the English Premier League after his outstanding performance in their win over Newcastle.

The Belgian winger came off 12 minutes before full-time in the early afternoon game at Stamford Bridge, but the game was already gone for the Magpies as a result of Hazard’s devastating display.

He scored their opening goal of the game, brilliantly volleying beyond Karl Darlow after 12 minutes – cancelling out Dwight Gayle’s strike to open the scoring.

Alvaro Morata then got on the scoresheet by heading home Victor Moses’ cross before half-time.

But Hazard got the decisive goal, dinking a Panenka penalty down the middle to make it 3-1 and put Chelsea out of sight.

Now Chelsea fans believe Hazard is the best player in the Premier League, judging by Twitter:

We’re sure Kevin de Bruyne, Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah would have something to say about that.

But is Hazard the best?
