The Palace winger had looked one of only a few threats for the Selhurst Park club as they welcomed the English Premier League leaders to London in today’s early game.
But he got little change from Kyle Walker on the left before switching to the right late on and winning what could have been a winner for Palace.
Luka Milivojević actually missed the penalty, but most see that as justice for a Zaha ‘dive’ to win it in the first place:
It’s hard to disagree with those accusations when you see the incident. Zaha goes down next to Raheem Sterling in the box, but doesn’t look to take enough contact before throwing himself to the ground.
Referee Jonathan Moss pointed straight to the spot though, putting City’s unbeaten start to the season to under threat. But Ederson Moraes came up with a save from Milivojević to ensure a 0-0 draw and that the run stays intact.
