Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to wind-up Dominic Calvert-Lewin about Everton‘s controversial penalty against Liverpool yesterday – after randomly bumping into Toffees striker.
In case you’re not up-to-speed, Calvert-Lewin was awarded a late spot-kick for his side against local rivals Liverpool at Anfield yesterday after an apparent shove by centre-back Dejan Lovren.
Wayne Rooney converted the penalty to secure a 1-1 draw for the visitors, but Jurgen Klopp was absolutely furious after the final whistle, and failed miserably at hiding his frustrations in his post-match interview with Sky Sports.
Not long after the final whistle, Carragher tweeted his support for the referee and effectively hung Lovren out to dry, but his stance appeared to have changed somewhat this evening after his chance meeting – before revealing he was just messing around:
I’ve changed my mind! Just bumped into @CalvertLewin14 even he said he dived!!!!!! pic.twitter.com/xlcTLXViEq

Do you think Calvert-Lewin deserved a penalty after his clash with Lovren, or was it a blatant dive?
