Jose Mourinho has taken one last opportunity to have his say on Sunday’s Manchester Derby tonight ahead of United’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
As every football fan in the UK will surely be aware by now, Mou’s side were involved in a bitter bust-up with their local rivals City following a 2-1 defeat at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday, with milk reportedly thrown and Mikel Arteta leaving with a split forehead.
Mourinho hasn’t gone into too many details surrounding the fracas but he did hit back at critics in his programme notes before tonight’s kick-off.
Rather than holding his hands up and acknowledging that the best team won, the Special One is sticking to his guns and insisting Ander Herrera should’ve had a penalty – rather than being booked for diving:
Mourinho in programme: 'We have been phenomenal at home this season, so we are not going to get let a clear penalty, which was not given on Sunday, dampen our spirits.' #mufc

At Old Trafford for United vs Bournemouth. Mourinho in his programme notes: "On Sunday, we did some things well and there were some things we could have done better, but there is not time to dwell on it."

Mourinho is deluded. Can’t believe what he wrote in the matchday programme.

Whatever you think or say about Jose, there’s absolutely no denying that he has the most brass neck in football.
Never change, Jose. Never change.
