Liverpool Fans Weren’t the Most Complimentary When Asked About Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Liverpool may have spent around £35 million in signing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal in the summer, but fans haven’t been overly-impressed with his start to life at Anfield

Oxlade-Chamberlain left the Emirates in the hopes of increasing his playing time and shifting into his favoured central midfield role.

However, Jurgen Klopp has struggled to slot the England international into his starting XI, with Emre Can, Georginio Wijnaldum and Philippe Coutinho seemingly ahead of him in the pecking order.

Granted, the lack of minutes afforded to Oxlade-Chamberlain probably skews their ratings, but Liverpool fans weren’t the most complimentary when assessing his start to life at the club on Twitter:

Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored twice since making his move to Merseyside but has been limited to just three Premier League starts.

Is this the form of a player who is finding his feet at Liverpool and can only improve given his pedigree and price tag?
