A Lot of People Think Graeme Shinnie is Better Than John McGinn

A lot of people believe Graeme Shinnie showed why he’s better than John McGinn during Aberdeen‘s win over Hibs today.

The Dons captain produced one of his best performances for the Dons as they won 4-1 at Pittodrie in the early Scottish Premiership game of the day.

Gary Mackay-Steven will no doubt steal the headlines due to his devastating display in setting up Shinnie for the opener before scoring a hat-trick of his own.

But Shinnie is certain to get more attention than rival McGinn, who came off second best in their midfield battle.

Much was made of McGinn’s performance against Scott Brown and Celtic last week, adding to the speculation that he’ll eventually leave Hibs as one of the country’s best young talents.

Shinnie, on the other hand, doesn’t get anywhere near as much recognition – and has yet to make the impact for Scotland that McGinn has over the last year.

But today’s game showed, for many, why Shinnie is the better player and deserves the sort of praise that McGinn has been getting over his Hibs career:

What do you think? Is Shinnie better than McGinn?
