One of the Jonas Brothers Was Called as a Witness in the FIFA Bribery Trial

Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers was called as a witness in the bribery trial of a former FIFA vice president, amidst uncertainty over a concert in River Plate’s El Monumental stadium.

Juan Ángel Napout is currently on trial charged with racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering all of which allegedly took place while he was the president of CONEMBOL and vice president of FIFA.

And while the court in Napout’s trial has already heard about 92 separate crimes and 15 corruption schemes to the tune of $200 million, the bizarre twist took place this afternoon.

According to BuzzFeed News reporter Ken Basinger, Napout refuted claims that a Paul McCartney show took place in Buenos Aires back in 2010.

In a bid to prove Napout wasn’t telling the truth with that statement, the prosecutors called on Kevin Jonas to confirm he attended the concert after being invited by McCartney:
