Plenty of Rangers Fans Are Hoping Santa Brings Their Club Garry Monk

Garry Monk is officially an unemployed manager once again after being shown the exit door by Middlesbrough yesterday – and now Rangers supporters are hoping he could be the answer to all their problems.

Monk arrived at the Riverside Stadium last summer after a promising campaign with Leeds United, and looked like he’d built a team likely of climbing directly back into the Premier League next season.

But their form stammered and stuttered, and now Monk is back on the managerial merry-go-round.

We all know the Gers hierarchy have announced Graeme Murty as interim boss until the summer but surely the emergence of a long-term replacement would significantly change things?
