Rangers are still on the lookout for a new boss – and the club’s supporters are growing hopeful that Tony Pulis could be the very man to help turn their fortunes around.
Previous Gers boss Pedro Caixinha was dismissed back in October and the club’s Under-20 coach Graeme Murty has been in charge of the senior team ever since, and is expected to be in charge until the New Year at the earliest.
The Rangers hierarchy are taking their sweet time to find a replacement and one many who wouldn’t require any kind of compensation fee is Pulis, following his sacking by West Brom last month.
The former Stoke City and Crystal Palace boss has a reputation for getting clubs on a stable footing and making them difficult to beat – everything Rangers definitely aren’t at the moment.
Following the Glasgow club’s 3-1 home defeat to St. Johnstone on Saturday, Pulis is the name on a lot of Gers supporters’ lips:
After watching the Hearts game yesterday I would be more than happy with Pulis as manager. His style is exactly how Hearts approached Celtic game. Strong, physical and pressed them.

A Pulis side wouldnt havr shipped 3 goals from St Johnstone

I would rather win every game 1-0 with pulis than what we are going through now.

In true Tony Pulis style, if appointed, he would set Rangers up to be a large and physical team again who win ugly – something that wasn't in Warburton and Caixinha's style, so we spent two years being naive and bullied off the ball easily.
So I would be really up for that.

Feel for Murty being thrown in n not had the best results, players should take some blame. Seem to raise their game away/against better teams. Hope Walter sorts out the team for the piggery! ?Rumours about Pulis floating around, I’d take him providing Swansea don’t nab him. ??

Even if I'm not a massive Pulis fan this is exactly the style that we need to win this league https://t.co/vb4lId2Vhr

What do you think?
Would Tony Pulis make a decent Rangers manager?
