Video: Bayern Munich’s “Skill of the Year” Competition is a Toughy

With another year coming to an end, it won’t come as a surprise that Bayern Munich yet again top the Bundesliga table.

In fact, it’s becoming so predictable that Bayern will win the league at a canter, that the club are looking for some competition from within, featuring some of their top stars.

Yes, this week the club’s social media team are asking fans to decide which player had the best piece of skill from 2017.

Was it, James Rodriguez‘s gravity-defying first touch against Schalke?

What about Thiago, who gave the Freiburg defence a life-time of nightmares?

Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and veteran goal-scorer Robert Lewandowski are also in the mix for the ‘skill of the year’ competition:

Bayern currently lead the table with 41 points, with Schalke 11 points adrift in second place.

The bigger test for Jupp Heynckes side will surely come in the Champions League, with the German champions set to face Turkish champions Besiktas in the last 16.
