Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has praised his players in the wake of the 0-0 draw with Rangers this afternoon, and reminded supporters of just how amazing the year has been.
The Hoops manager watched from the sidelines as his players could’ve stolen all three points against their bitter rivals – but were also saved from defeat on several occasions by outstanding saves by his goalkeeper Craig Gordon.
All in all, Rodgers seemed satisfied enough, especially when he offered up the fact that today was his team’s ninth match this month – and their 38th of the campaign so far:

Rodgers and his squad will now enjoy a few days off before travelling to Dubai for a warm-weather training camp and their next match back in action is against Brechin in the Scottish Cup on January 20.
But what do you make of his comments this afternoon? Is he right to praise his players and point to an historic year?
