Video: Bruno Alves Says Rangers Need to Play With More Patience

Bruno Alves claims the Rangers players need to handle the pressure of playing for a big club and show more patience on the pitch if results are to improve over the next few weeks.

The club’s run of four victories in a row came to a sudden halt last weekend, with St. Johnstone coming from behind to win their first league game at Ibrox since 1971.

However, prior to that shock defeat, Graeme Murty had lead his team to impressive wins against Aberdeen, Ross County and Neil Lennon’s Hibs.

Alves is keen to get back to winning ways though, telling the club’s YouTube channel that he wants to see Rangers be more patient and move the ball faster in order to find solutions:

Alves has played in 12 of Rangers’ 19 league matches so far this season.

However, with Kenny Miller facing an extended spell on the sidelines through injury, the 36-year-old Portuguese could become the club’s on-field leader over the next few weeks.
