Christian Pulisic has won the Bundesliga’s goal of the month award for December, after his superb last-gasp winner helped Borussia Dortmund come from behind to win 2-1 against Hoffenheim.
Pulisic is already one of the highest-rated teenage footballers in the world, with the 19-year-old getting his hands on the 2017 USMNT Player of the Year award earlier this month.
And it would be no surprise if Europe’s biggest clubs come knocking in January, after the Pennsylvania-born youngster added to his already lengthy list of accomplishments, with December’s goal of the month award.
Prior to Pulisic’s 89th minute winner, Mark Uth had given Hoffenheim at the Westfalenstadion.
It took Dortmund 42 minutes to equalise, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netting from the penalty spot.
And with BVB starring down the barrel of what would have been their ninth game in a row without victory, the most inexperienced player on the pitch stole the spotlight with an incredible goal:
Manchester United are reportedly amongst the clubs looking at Pulisic, with a January switch a real possibility as Jose Mourinho looks to catch Manchester City in the new year.
