The youngster played in front of Wilson and Bruno Alves, playing as a ball-winning midfielder rather than his traditional position in the heart of defence.
However, Wilson believes that despite lining up against Scotland internationals Graeme Shinnie and Kenny McClean, McCrorie didn’t look out of place.
The 25-year-old added that McCrorie has the attributes to “play anywhere” and wasn’t surprised to see him do well against the Dons:

While a double from James Tavernier and a goal from Carlos Pena secured a 3-0 win at Ibrox in midweek, Wilson also added that the squad won’t get too carried away with the result.
