Video: Declan John Marks Permanent Rangers Deal With Goal v Kilmarnock

Declan John has marked his permanent move to Rangers with a nice goal to open the scoring against Kilmarnock.

The news that the Welsh full back has joined the club on a permanent basis after impressing in his loan spell came along with confirmation that Graeme Murty will remain as manager until the end of the season.

Both were met with positivity from supporters, particularly the John news.

And he’s followed it up by scoring the opener against Killie at Rugby Park this afternoon.

Kilmarnock definitely had the better of the first half, but Rangers broke well and Josh Windass’ cutback to John was turned home to make it 1-0 just before the break:

It’s a great finish by John with his weaker foot – and shows again the attacking quality he brings Rangers from the left.

In this form, you have to think that Lee Wallace will have a big job on getting back into the team once he’s fit.
