Video: Everton Target Cenk Tosun Scores on What Could Be His Last Besiktas Appearance

Cenk Tosun appears to be Everton-bound after Besiktas accepted a £25 million bid for the Turkey striker.

And it looks like he could be headed to the Premier League on a decent run of form, after Tosun scored on what may be his final appearance for the Turkish champions.

The 26-year-old is expected to sign a four-and-a-half year contract at Goodison Park, when the transfer window reopens on 1 January.

And if this goal is decent evidence of the player Sam Allardyce is getting, it won’t be long until the Toffees are finding the back of the net with more regularity.

Everton have of course, struggled to score goals after allowing Romelu Lukaku to leave for Manchester United in the summer, despite bringing in Wayne Rooney, Sandro Ramirez and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

However, Tosun’s arrival could change things, as has already netted 14 times in 26 appearance for club and country this season.
