Jordan Larsson might just be starting to hit his groove for NEC Nijmegen.
The Swedish youngster – the son of Celtic legend Henrik – has had to deal with injury and a lack of playing time in the first half of this season for the Dutch side.
But he’s got two goals in his last two games, following up an early opener against Dordrecht last week with a brilliant strike against Helmond Sport last night.
Larsson looked rapid as he ran on to a high ball over the top and he twisted and turned before firing a beauty into the top corner to make it 1-0 in the game:
Larsson will be delighted to get on the scoresheet again, but he’ll be disappointed that NEC won’t play again until January 15th as they deal with a winter break.
He’s had to deal with a lot of hype being the son of Henrik Larsson so more goals will only help him live up to the billing.
