Video: Neil Lennon Doesn’t Miss His Hibs Players After Loss

Neil Lennon did not miss his Hibs players after their 4-1 defeat to Aberdeen earlier.

Despite saying that his team play the best football in Scotland outwith Celtic going into the game, they failed to show that, coming off second best to a Dons side that put them to the slaughter with some quality attacking play.

Hibs had shown up well in a 2-2 draw with Celtic last weekend and followed that up with a strong performance despite losing 2-1 to Rangers in midweek.

Lennon would have expected another good display and a win to go with it against a team they’re aiming to compete with in the Premiership this season.

But that wasn’t the case and Aberdeen ran out easy winners in the end.

You won’t be surprised to learn that Lennon was furious post-match and his interview with BBC Sportsound shows just what he thought of his players and their performance:

We doubt Cowdenbeath will take offence to that considering they sit bottom of Scottish football in League Two.
