Video: Philippe Coutinho Scores An Absolute Boxing Day Cracker v Swansea City

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho sent a timely reminder to Barcelona‘s transfer committee this afternoon by scoring an absolutely brilliant goal against Swansea City at Anfield.

The Brazilian magician wasted absolutely no time in setting about the Welsh side’s defence, and his compatriot Roberto Firmino set him up brilliantly after just six minutes.

Firmino may have provided Coutinho with a really well-placed pass, but the finish was absolutely sublime, as the former Inter Milan midfielder proceeded to somehow bend the ball around his marker and high into the top of the net:

Not too bad a finish, eh?

That’s Coutinho’s 13th goal in 24 matches for club and country this year, and you can bet there’s a lot more where they came from in the second-half of the campaign – wherever he’s playing.

Do you think in his current form that Liverpool will manage to stave off advances from Barcelona for their prized-asset?
