Video: Philippe Coutinho Scores Absolutely Fantastic Solo Goal v Bournemouth

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho reminded the world why he’s one of the hottest properties in European football at the moment by scoring an absolutely sublime solo goal against Bournemouth.

With the January transfer window just around the corner, rumours have begun circulating that the Brazilian will once again be targeted by La Liga giants Barcelona, as he was throughout most of last summer.

Jurgen Klopp and the Liverpool hierarchy managed to stave off the Catalans’ advances but his goal tonight will probably only encourage Barca to lodge another bid.

Collecting the ball just inside the opposition’s half, Coutinho ignores the outside run of left-back Andy Robertson, and decides to take on the four defenders in-front of him – each of whom had no idea how to stop the little magician:

Regardless of who you support, there is absolutely no denying this is an absolutely majestic finish.

Do you think he’ll be a Barcelona player next month?
